In the UK, a pilot on a flight was replaced by a passenger

In Britain, the passenger of an EasyJet airline flying from Manchester to Alicante, Spain, replaced a pilot who didn’t go to work, the Daily Mirror newspaper reports.

Before departure, it turned out that the co-pilot working at EasyJet did not show up for the flight. Among the passengers was Michael Bradley, who, with his family, was going to rest in Alicante. A man who had a pilot license with him contacted the leadership and received permission to board the aircraft.

EasyJet representatives told reporters that Bradley was allowed to fly after a thorough check. In particular, it was established that until that moment he had four days off. The airline called the case "exceptional" and expressed their gratitude to Bradley for their help.
