Unique building materials will be produced in Uzbekistan

The project agreement for the supply of the first batch of equipment for the production of aerated concrete slabs and blocks using the autoclave method signed at the Uzbek-German business forum in Berlin.

The total cost of the project between the German Wehrhahn GmbH company and the Uzbek-Turkish joint venture East Mining Investment is 130 million euros, 50 of them are foreign investments, - the press center of Uzstroymaterial JSC reports.

Uzpromstroybank provides the financial support and consulting services.

The MoU on this project was signed in August 2018 at the International Investment Forum in Jizzakh. Afterwards the Uzbek side has announced that the plan is to build five modern facilities with a capacity of 2.5 million cubic meters per year.

Notable that the company Wehrhahn GmbH began with a small factory that was engaged in equipment for the production of building materials opened in Delmenhorst in 1892 by the young German engineers Heinrich Verhan. Today, the Wehrhahn plants operate on all continents, and its know-how is used by leading manufacturers of fiber cement and aerated concrete. More than a century of history has turned the company into a leading global player in the engineering market for the production of high-quality building materials.
